Outreach
Christ’s great commission can be found in Acts 1:8 “After ye have received power go into Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria……” The great commission does not ask us to sit in our churches and worship Him or sit in our homes in prayer (these are all good things), but ultimately we are called to share the love of Christ. As such, Fusion Ministries has made it our objective to do just that. We work with a variety of Christian organizations and organize events to share the gospel and make a positive impact on the community. Our activities include working with homeless shelters, food distribution to low income families, children’s ministries, tract distribution and open-air concerts.
Fusion First Fridays
There is victory, deliverance and freedom in true praise and worship! Fusion First Fridays occur (as you may have guessed) every first Friday of the month to provide people with an opportunity to participate in dynamic and exciting praise and worship. There is freedom in the presence of God so if you enjoy singing, dancing, shouting or simply waiting on Him quietly please come out and be blessed at one of our upcoming events.
Special Events
We all need a change from the regular, routine services we may be used to. Our special events look to do just that. We regularly hold coffee houses, concerts and other special meetings to give people an opportunity to experience God in new and exciting ways. These events are a lot of fun, will allow you to meet some great people and most importantly allow you to strengthen your relationship with Him. If you are looking for something to do over the weekend look for one of our upcoming Special Events!
Social Events
A key ingredient of partnering up is spending time together getting to know each other through participating in things we all love to do. Building relationships this way helps build friendships, strengthen bonds, and develop a love for each other that will enable us to work together as a family with an openness to accept everyone who is willing to partner with us. We believe that God will act when we share our story with each other and encourage each other through our lives. Social activities are a great breeding ground to develop these relationships. Examples of events we’ve had in the past and are considering for the future include bowling tournaments, picnics, barbecues, and retreats. As we serve Christ together, we seek to learn more about Him and how He’s worked in all of our lives. We don’t believe anyone should be alone within the body of Christ and part of fellowship is reaching out to those who are alone and bringing them into the family. Missions
Missions is the Heart of Fusion Ministries. Christ’s last words to us before he ascended into heaven were to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
We believe that the Christian faith and missions go hand in hand. Your faith grows as you see the way God works in the lives of those who are reached. Our focus is to serve the needs of those in the immediate Philadelphia region with the desire to expand throughout world through missions trips and supporting those who spread the Word abroad. We’ve had members of our team journey to other countries for short trips over the past 7 years and have a vision to increase our service.
We are partnering up with ministries that have already made an impact in the immediate local area serving the needs of our neighbors who have little. Our desire is to show them the love that Christ has for them through service and love. Service activities include distribution of food to shut-ins, making food for homeless shelters, visiting orphanages, and working in sub-standard neighborhoods offering prayer and a helping hand where possible. We are looking for all who are interested and available to partner up with us praying for those who are in need of food, clothing, substance, and most of all love so that together, we can help meet those needs and show them Christ’s love first hand.
